How to transfer files from one PC to another without programs

Transfer files from one PC to another

Once we make sure of the requirements, we can get started. Follow these steps:

1.- On Computer 1 you must create a new folder on the Desktop, give it an identifying name, such as "Shared Folder".

2.- Right click on that folder, and click on «Properties».

3.- Go to the «Share» section, and then click on the «Share» button.

4.- Display the arrow pointing downwards, and then click on «All»:

5.- Now, click on «Add». When added, right-click on the option that was added, and click on "Read and write."

6.- Then, click on «Share».

Ready, with this we will have configured everything. What you must do next is to put all the files you want to share into that folder.

Access shared files

We already know how to transfer files from one PC to another, now we must know how to access those files from the other PC.

From Computer 1 you put the files into that folder, now from Computer 2 you should go to:

Computer> [Computer 1 Name]> Users> [User]> Desktop> Shared Folder.

1.- On computer 1, right-click on the network icon, and click on "Open the Network and Sharing Center".

2.- Now, click on «Change advanced sharing settings».

3.- Next, locate the section that says "Shared use with password protection", and deactivate the use of password.
