Convert from image with text to digital text (OCR format)

In this tutorial you will learn how you can pass a text that is in an image to a text that you can edit, copyetc (digital text, OCR). ENTER!

It has happened to many of us that we see a text that is in an image and we say: Ugh, I'll have to write it all down because I can't just copy it. Well, that's over, because today we're going to show you how you can transform that text in the image into a real text, that can be copied, edited, etc ...

Passing images with text to digital text in OCR format:

For this tutorial, we will use the application called "OCR Plus", which is available in Google Play on your Android device. Once you have downloaded it, you will see 2 options:

  1. Make a photo to OCR: you take a photo of something that has text in it at that moment to convert it to digital text.
  2. KGP to OCR: You choose an image that you already have on your computer and that has text to be transformed into digital text.

Regardless of which option you choose, take the following steps:

  1. Take/Choose the photo you want to transform into digital text.
  2. And that you have selected/taken the photo, click on the white button that says "Click here to OCR [image] to OCR".
  3. Wait for the application to do its thing (it can display ads while it does it, just close it), and when it's done, you'll have your text.
