WE START:

Welcome to another new post. Hasn't it happened to you that your games are slow, or with bad graphics? It has happened to me many times, and the truth is, it is very tedious, that is why today I decided to write this tutorial, so that you, who suffer from the same thing that I fry, can play with total freedom.

You will learn to improve the FPS, improve the graphics, and optimize games in general, so that they run efficiently.

Well, without further ado, let's go to the tutorial!

How to optimize PC games to the fullest (increase graphics + FPS)

Before we dive right in, I want to tell you that this will not excessively increase the FPS or increase the graphics, but it will improve them considerably. If you want to upload them excessively, that largely depends on your RAM and your graphics card. Well let's get started:

Let's start by changing the visual effects of Windows:

1.- Right click on "This computer" and then go to "Properties". Then, in the left menu, click on "Advanced system settings", and then, in "Performance" go to "Settings ...".

2.- Click on the box «Adjust for best performance» and click «Apply». If you have Windows 8 or 7 you will see that your interface will become a bit ugly, but it does not matter. When you finish playing, come back here and return everything as before.

3.- We are not finished, now go to the tab «Advanced options», and verify that the option «Adjust for the best performance of:» is placed on the «Programs» box. And voila, close everything.

By doing this, you will notice a considerable improvement, but we are not yet exploiting the maximum. Let's go to the next part of this tutorial ...

Now we will change the graphics:

1.- Right click on the desktop and click on «Graphics Properties ...». Regardless of what you have Intel, AMD or NVIDIA, that option should appear. Okay, then look for the option that says "3D."

2.- Then, there will be a section that says "General Settings", which has at least 4 options to choose from. Normally the default option is "Balanced mode", you should change it to "Recommended".

3.- Now, in the lower part of that window, click on «Apply», and confirm that it is.

4.- Now, go to the home section of these properties (by clicking on the house icon), and then you will enter «Energy», and you will select the option «Maximum performance». In the same way you apply it and confirm that it is.

Now, we are going to defragment our hard drive:

We will do this because when the disk is fragmented, it tends to go much slower, to open programs slower, and therefore, when we are playing, it will go slower.

We recommend you:  How to login and create account at MEGA NZ Limited

1.- Click on «This computer», and then right click on «Local disk C:», and access «Properties».

2.- Access the «Tools» menu and then, in the «Optimize and defragment drive» section, click on «Optimize».

3.- Now click on «Change settings», and uncheck the box «Run scheduled (recommended)», and click on «OK».

4.- Now, you must choose the disk where you have your operating system installed, and then click on «Optimize».

5.- Now, when the analysis is finished, you will click on «Optimize».

Now, we are going to optimize the system to reduce LAG:

1.- Go to «Windows Settings» (round icon), and go to the «Update and security» section. Now go to "Windows Update" and update all security issues.

2.- When you finish, go to the Windows search engine and search for «Services» and access here:

3.- Enter there, and at the bottom, you will see that the Windows Update service is activated:

4.- Right click on it, and click on «Properties», now in «Startup type» change it to «Disabled», and in «Service status» click on the «Stop» button.

5.- Finally, click on «Apply» and then on «OK».

With this we solve that Windows is downloading updates while we play, since that slows down the computer and, obviously, our internet connectivity.

Update computer drivers and controllers:

Another question is to update all the components of your computer. In my blog you will find a step by step tutorial, since we will deal with a program called "Driver Booster PRO". I leave the tutorial here:

Use a program to optimize games at 100%:

In addition to all the points mentioned above, there is a program called "Razer Game Booster", which is responsible for speeding up your games even more. In the same way, I leave you the link to the tutorial on my blog:

Unlock all the cores that your processor has:

No, this is not OverClock, it is taking advantage of your entire processor without putting it at risk. We also teach you how to get the most out of it !:

And well, with all this you will be able to optimize games on Windows and your PC, managing to increase the FPS, reduce the LAG and improve the graphics; they will run much better than you used to have. I hope I've helped. If you are interested in Gaming, I invite you to take a look at our posts related to it, you will surely love them! See you until another post.
